This will be Richard's 6th All-City Banquet; having been selected in both Football and Wrestling.
Richard has received special recognition at the state level, being named Valley of the Sun National Football Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete 2001, and Honorable Mention All-American. Richard was First Team All Tribune 2001, and 4A East Valley Wrestler of the Year. Richard ranks 28th in a class of 309 and carries a 3.88 grade point average. He is involved in school activities such as National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Letterman's Club. His community activities include: Tempe Diablos Volunteer, Tempe Arts & Crafts Festival, Volunteer work at Holdeman Elementary School, and Friendship Village.
Richard is the son of Richard & Cecelia Galvan.
