Kara has been a outstanding Soccer Athlete while attending Desert Vista. She has been the Team Captain and Team Most Valuable Player the past two years. Kara was named Senior Athlete of the Year at Desert Vista just last week. Listed are a few of her accomplishments. Arizona Republic 1st team All State, East Valley Tribune 1st Team, Coaches Poll 1st Team All-Arizona, Tempe All-City Midfielder 2006 and 2007.
Kara is also an excellent scholar with a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, and was nominated for the National Youth Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C. Her community activities include participating in Hurricane Katrina Empathy Walk 2005, and Relay for Life 2006. She has also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and the First Annual Rock & Roll Marathon 2004.
Kara is the daughter of Tom & Jaki Miller.
